New to Bacio? Here are the facts:
- Bacio means “kiss” in Italian. True to its namesake, our delicious cheese is made with a Kiss of Buffalo Milk—which enhances the flavor and performance of Bacio.
- Bacio is crafted by our cheese makers to bring perfection to pizzas. Its flavor, melt, stretch and reheatability are exceptional.
- Bacio is similar to traditional mozzarella. The only reason we can’t call it that is because of our unique combination of cow and buffalo milk that makes Bacio so special.
- Loyal pizzerias that exclusively use Bacio will be invited to join the Bacio Gold Club. Gold Club members receive a variety of exciting benefits, including business-building email coupon campaigns sponsored by Bacio.
Bacio is exclusively distributed by PERFORMANCE Food Group—ROMA Food, a leading supplier to independent pizzerias. The cheese is currently available in 6-lb. Part Skim and Whole Milk blocks, but will debut in shredded varieties later this year—for pizzerias preferring the ease of pre-shredded cheese.
